A sub-par manifesto brought to you by neptun. It's more of a placeholder, really. I'll probably change it later. Probably.
The real world is too boring. All you people seem to do is look at things, eat food, and talk about things. Sure, there are some exceptions (kinda), such as a person who does football for a living, or someone who dedicates their life to a big project and maybe is able to live off of it. But what about the rest of the folks? What about the rest of the game genres as well? It's going to be a long time before VR truly matches/surpasses reality in terms of complexity, so what are all of you planning on doing until then?
The purpose of these Games is ultimately philanthropic. They exist to promote a desire to learn about the real world, socialization among neighbors, physical exercise and health, along with mental ability and health. And they're games. They're meant to be entertainment. They're meant to be fun.
Game design for the longer-term games is focused on largely increasing the amount of intense moments throughout the time the game is running. These games are meant to run during and through a person's normal life. A person may also be able to play two or three games at one time, depending on what they require.
It also may function as a potential motivator to advance technology in place of war, but I do not know at this time if that is possible.
