Open Sauce? the Open Source food truck! Maybe we'll pick a different name. Seems like there's already some YouTube nerd conference who stole THAT name. Originally built as a camp kitchen for Burning Man, is now slated to become a real food truck so Wetfish members can earn some supplemental income.

This project started in 2023. After purchasing a 16 foot flatbed trailer, Rachel had to learn CAD (Fusion 360) and read the International Residential Building Code (IRC). After doing a bunch of research, she decided to use wood frame construction to create a 104 square foot room with studs 24 inches on center to save on weight and cost.

In retrospect this decision added a lot of weight to the build and may not have been the best. Also it's not very aerodynamic at all. It's literally a big box. At some point we'll have to fix that 😅
