OpenKore and iRO Valkyrie

If you are sick of manually walking or spam bots then this is the guide for you.

This guide explains how to connect to iRO Valkyrie with the intent of using only our autoignore plugin, if you have your own agenda go visit the OpenKore Wiki.

1. Download the latest release of OpenKore, look for the newest thread with the latest version release (OpenKore 2.0.7 at the moment).
2. Unzip the files, download the latest NetRedirect.dll and XSTools.dll place them into the main folder with start.exe.
3. Create a folder named "plugins" in your main folder, download our auto ignore plugin and unzip, drop autoignore.pl into the plugins folder.
4. Time to switch your config file with ours, download our clean config.txt file, most values were reset to 0.
5. Unzip and drop our config.txt into the control folder, now you are ready to turn to the main folder and open start.exe.
6. OpenKore will ask for your Master Server, select International Ragnarok Online - Valkyrie.
7. Now open your RagnarokFree.exe or Valkyrie.exe and start the game, login, and choose your character. By now your OpenKore window should be showing all kinds of fun and useful information. Once you get into the game all spam bots should be ignored automatically, sayonara spam!

Comfortable with OpenKore? Take a trip on the wild side and give wxstart.exe a shot. It has awesome dialogs, chat logs, and fucking MAPS man!

If you have any problems we suggest you check out the OpenKore Wiki or cry on IRC about it.

Tricks of the Trade

So you think you're a big man, huh? Well listen here tough guy, hear my advice and you'll be level 99 taking a shit in Payon Forest.

Training Grounds

This is one of the few places Gravity really hands out levels and YOU should know how to zip through this place and get your ass to 8/7 in no time!

Create your new character and log into the game. Your character spawns in front of Shion, talk to her and select the first answer then speak to her once again and you should recieve a base level. Now walk across the bridge and into the castle. Go ahead and walk up the Receptionist and type in your name, then choose Apply for Training.

Welcome to the Training Grounds, speak with the Interfaces Tutor. First option once again, then speak with him one more time and he will teleport you to the Skill Tutor.

Start Paying Attention

As you speak with the Skill Tutor she rewards you with exp and the skill First Aid, she will eventually ask you to perform the skill and once done she will reward you with bonus exp.

Walk to the east of the room to the Item Tutor and talk to her, again pay attention, she will give you a Novice Potion and ask you to use it and you are rewarded with exp. The Item Tutor will then give you some equipment and she will ask you to put on the Novice Slippers, stick them on and recieve your exp. A little bit more conversation and you should be done with her.

Speak with Kafra right next to the Item Tutor, select the second option Kafra Services, and choose Save Service and Storage Service, then scoot over to the west exit. Talk to the Helper on the west side of the room select Yes and ignore the rest of the crap he has to say. Click on the Entrance Guard, receive your potions and move on outside. Don't forget to equip your weapons!

You should be 8/7 by now and have a couple options: you can die and receive more potions from the Entrance Guard, talk to the Trainer to change monster difficulty, or go to the northern exit to finish the Training Grounds. I recommend using the Training Grounds to finish your last bit of leveling to job level 10.

Click on Bruce to the left and choose your job, listen to what he has to say and cancel the conversation, then speak with Hanson about the Personality Test. Here is a guide of all the correct answers for each job. Once you've finished you should be at the town of job change and ready to start your Ragnarok Adventure.

Monster Hunting Quests

Joining a leech party for Monster Hunting is the most recent method to raising characters to the second job class.
In a nutshell players create parties for Repeatable EXP Quests between leeching characters, pullers, and wizards.
High level characters pull monsters from the map to the group and kill them on the same screen as the leechers, the kills are rewarded to the entire party.
The leech character turns in the quest to the NPC upon completion and receives EXP then the process is repeated.

What is required?

Two separate accounts, one with a contributor and one with the character you will have leech the kills.
Any class that can do AOE, healing, buffing, or pulling is a class of first priority.
Obvious choices are: Wizards, Tanks, and Priests.

How do I start my own party?

As the party leader the very first thing you should do is free yourself a couple hours worth of time to ensure you will not be AFK.
Find a map to start your party on and search for a spot relatively close to the NPC or abundant in monster respawns.
Now that you've found your camp it's time to invite party members. People can be found by the quest NPC, on the map, or they will find you.
The following should be prioritized from left to right: Wizard, Pullers, Healers, Buffers, lastly Leechers with no contributor.
There is no cookie cutter way to have the party structured, it is normally dependent on the characters available so don't stress not having a perfect "group".
As a default you want to have the Wizard, Puller, and maybe Healer in the party otherwise allow Leechers with contributors until you are full.
Once your party is created and ready, pullers will scout the map for monsters and bring them to the group where they are killed by AOE.

Tips

Just one Wizard does the job but there should never be more than two.
The party should be about the people doing the jobs and the Leechers with contributors before anything else.
Maximize the amount of Pullers you can have in your group, Pullers don't even have to be in the party, just their Leech characters.
Priests do not necessarily have to be in the party to be useful, especially if they are just buffing characters.
There are no special places to make your camp, the game does not discriminate on where to spawn monsters, honestly it's more about the geography and your experiences will always vary.
The most efficient party is the one with every party member actively playing the game, people that AFK will always slow the group down.

Alternatively you can do this entirely by yourself by shift + right click on the leech character and have it follow the other as it kills monsters.
