Doublespeak is a language, a hidden language of meaning that pervades our lives. Words that say one thing but really mean the other. We are constantly subjected to it through media. The motives are unclear, but if you see it, speak up. This page is a repository of doublespeak that has been casually collected through our experiences online.

Both Google and Facebook make products claiming to accelerate mobile browsing. Facebook's loads a 250mb video file of the earth rotating and Google's loads the same 3.4mb intro video over and over. What?
