Woodgears also known as Matthias Wandel is a guy who loves woodworking. He makes all sorts of things out of wood and the tools he uses to make things out of wood are also made out of wood. You could say he's a meta-woodworker. He builds the usual things like cabinets and chairs, but also badass things like home made bandsaws, pantorouters, slinky escalators, apple grinders, marble sets, and jenga guns.

His website is classic web 1.0 style and has no ads on it. He releases plans and 3D models for the things he builds and offers detailed instructions for complicated machines like his pantorouter for under $20.

He is a shining gem of what the internet is supposed to be.
